Most Italian Grigio is grown in the north of Italy. This zesty, fresh number is grown on chalky, limestone soils at the other end of the country, in Sicily. It’s still dry and crisp, but has a juicier, friendlier palate. Organically grown, it’s fermented at cool temperatures to preserve it’s lifted fruit aromatics.
Californian filmmaker Jason Baffa captures tales of care-free surfing sub-culture. In making Bella Vita, he travelled with surfer-environmentalist, Chris Del Moro and fifth generation winemaker, Piergiorgio Castellani. From their combined passion for great organic food and wine, Zio Baffa was born. These certified organic wines represent cheerful, easy Italian drinking.
